Honourable Senators of the Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans:

The Lightkeepers of BC would like to thank you for the consideration that you have given to the mariners and aviators of our Pacific and Atlantic coasts. Your report indicates not only that you heard their concerns, but also that you made a bona fide effort to understand the safety needs of those who must travel and work on our water highways. This is no small accomplishment given the geographic and cultural distances and we are duly grateful.
