The Lighthouse Keepers

They want to take us away from here
from our rocky perches, scarred by waves
Where eyes have strained
for a hundred years

Every night and every day

Our brothers on the sea
Have safe passage home
to their families

Wind over tide and howling gales
Thrasher's Rock
and wheelhouse sins
combine to see each vessel fails

High and dry
