Boat Bluff

Located on Sarah Island at the southern entrance to Tolmie Channel which leads into Princess Royal Channel. It is a red sector light used by major traffic including Alaska Cruise liners and other vessels plying the protected route along the scenic Inside Passage. The channel is narrow with fast flowing tidal currents. Boat Bluff is the last marine and aviation weather reporting station on the Inside Passage before Prince Rupert and is a vital communications link with Klemtu.
